About Us

Mick is our Managing Director and the only Manchester City fan in the office.

Mick has managed several development companies in the renewable sector and has considerable technical and commercial knowledge of the industry.

He has been a power station engineer for all his career. He trained with the CEGB and Powergen, and has around 35 years experience in developing power plants, their construction and operation; over 3,000MW of gas fired power plants across Europe.

Outside of work, his passions are food (mostly Mediterranean), his family, and his cat, Hunter.

Thomas is an entrepreneur and a joint founder of Climeon AB. He previously worked at Micronic AB (publ), where he amongst other roles was VP for technology development.

Whilst he is based in Stockholm, Thomas is a frequent traveler and makes many welcome visits to London. He is an avid walker, especially when combined with riverside views.

Thomas Öström has a MScin computer science and control engineering from Luleå University of Technology, in addition to the leadership and finance programs at Svenska Managementgruppen.

George is our Investment Director, primarily responsible for structuring the raising the finance into both the company and our projects. He has an Investment banking background with JP Morgan, and has structured and raised a number of large financings across media, real estate and energy.

He was the co-founder and FD of a London listed IT staffing group and co-founder of a 200MW windfarm in Turkey. George has extensive experience of identifying, structuring and financing gas powered projects in the UK

George holds an MA (Hons) in Economics from Edinburgh University.

Carl is a sales and marketing professional with 17 years in various sales management, board and operational roles.

In the past 10 years he has worked in complex B2B environments, predominantly in start-up and scale-up companies. Most recently Carl worked for LMPH’s key technical partner Climeon AB.

Carl is the office’s official beatboxer and a former professional football player.

He holds a degree from IHM Business School, Sweden.

Roddy has worked in most aspects of power plant development, engineering, construction, and operation in his career, and has lived and worked across Europe and Asia.

He is particularly engaged in ensuring the LMPH Projects are delivered to time and budget and are of high quality with impeccable safety, environmental, and commercial performance.

When not at work Roddy is a keen long distance cyclist and music enthusiast.
Roddy is a fellow of the IMechE and holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering.

Chris is an experienced Finance Director with extensive board-level experience, including Swiss Life (UK) plc and Direct Line Group plc.

He also has experience of running his own business and advising a large number of SME’s on financial and corporate compliance.

When he’s not taxiing his 6 children around, Chris likes to be out working his Springer Spaniels or, playing classical piano.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. He holds a practicing certificate from the ACCA.

Håkan is our Process Engineer. With nearly 15 years of experience, his focus is the evaluation of new technologies.

He previously lived in China where he travelled widely. He welcomes living now in London, working with clean energy technology in such an innovative company.

Håkan holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm.

Ollie is our Head of Project Development with over seven years’ experience in the energy sector.

He is a passionate environmentalist and working at LMPH matches his values. He wishes that LMPH’s technologies that we deploy will one day outgrow us.

His out of work interests include bicycling, photography, and personal fitness.

Ollie studied Mechanical Engineering at Aberdeen University and is currently obtaining a Masters Degree in Energy Transition Systems & Technologies.

Astrid is our Head of Marketing with more than 15 years’ International marketing experience from industries ranging from FMCG to Luxury goods and latest Medico.

She takes care of all things related to marketing at LMPH. Being the latest addition to the team and never having worked in energy before, she brings a new perspective to the business.

When Astrid isn’t at work, she is spending time with her two daughters or rowing on the Thames – a new-found passion of hers.

She has a MSc in Economics & Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.

Yasmine is our Office and HR Manager. She looks after all of us and makes sure everyone is happy. She also steps in to help with our marketing.

Yasmine enjoys working in a company that has a positive impact on the World

She enjoys, reading, fashion, and food, and in true Hannah Montana fashion, her other life is being the bassist of a punk band.

Yasmine has an MA from Kingston University.

Our Finance Manager Sharon works closely with CFO Chris Fry, excelling in management accounting, forecasting, and budgeting to drive our company’s success. With over 15 years of experience, she is very valuable asset to our team and will help us shape and strengthen the finance department.

Beyond professional endeavours, Sharon’s interests include a love for crime documentaries, hairdressing, and a fondness for penguins, but her greatest passion is her family: her husband, their two children, and their Golden Retriever. She aims to explore the world and create unforgettable memories with them.

Daniel is our Operations Leader; he plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Rhodesia plant.

With his diverse background in the heavy steel industry, Dan brings a unique perspective to problem-solving, drawing from his experiences in different industries. He is currently undergoing training as a Safety Authorisation Provider and is also involved in supporting the project team during the construction and commissioning stage of the site.

Daniel finds it an honour to be a part of a project that prioritises environmental sustainability. Outside of work, he is a devoted family man who loves travelling and football – Manchester United in particular.

Dounia studied Fashion Marketing at UAL. Fast fashion wasn’t for her given the environmental damage the industry causes, so she joined LMPH to help fight the Climate Crisis with green engines.

She is responsible for the office admin and is the glue that holds us together.

Dounia is the youngest member of our team and therefore brings enthusiastic energy into the office, as well as a fresh perspective. Her other passions include makeup, making jewelry, travelling, and music.

Adam is a highly experienced global business leader with diverse commercial & operational expertise in the industrial, medical & hospitality gases industry.

He held a range of Executive positions at Linde plc & BOC in the UK, Ireland, Middle-East and Africa over the last 30 years.

Adam provides consulting and mentoring support to organisations who leverage his proven leadership development and governance experience.

Adam’s personal passions are sailing and animal rescue.

He holds BEng (Hons) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Surrey University

Adrian has been a lawyer for 30 years and is a Senior Consultant at Mills & Reeve advising surety clients issuing bonds and guarantees in infrastructure and other sectors. He also advises owners and operators of power generation facilities.

In power generation, he has extensive experience of construction, routine operation and maintenance, and long term service contracts, as well as advising power companies in corporate issues.

Adrian has a deep knowledge and has an interest in a vineyard in Australia.

He holds a degree from Cambridge University (where he also taught International Law).
