About Us

Mick is our Managing Director and the only Manchester City fan in the office.

Mick has managed several development companies in the renewable sector and has considerable technical and commercial knowledge of the industry.

He has been a power station engineer for all his career. He trained with the CEGB and Powergen, and has around 35 years experience in developing power plants, their construction and operation; over 3,000MW of gas fired power plants across Europe.

Outside of work, his passions are food (mostly Mediterranean), his family, and his cat, Hunter.

Thomas is an entrepreneur and a joint founder of Climeon AB. He previously worked at Micronic AB (publ), where he amongst other roles was VP for technology development.

Whilst he is based in Stockholm, Thomas is a frequent traveler and makes many welcome visits to London. He is an avid walker, especially when combined with riverside views.

Thomas Öström has a MScin computer science and control engineering from Luleå University of Technology, in addition to the leadership and finance programs at Svenska Managementgruppen.

George is our CCO, primarily responsible for structuring the raising the finance into both the company and our projects. He has an investment banking background with JP Morgan Chase with over 30 years business experience. Co- founder and FD of buy and build listed IT staffing group. Previously head of UK business development for Sterling & Wilson.

George holds an MA (Hons) in Economics from Edinburgh University.

Ollie is our Head of Project Development with over seven years’ experience in the energy sector.

He is a passionate environmentalist and working at LMPH matches his values. He wishes that LMPH’s technologies that we deploy will one day outgrow us.

His out of work interests include bicycling, photography, and personal fitness.

Ollie studied Mechanical Engineering at Aberdeen University and is currently obtaining a Masters Degree in Energy Transition Systems & Technologies.

Astrid is our Head of Marketing with more than 15 years’ International marketing experience from industries ranging from FMCG to Luxury goods and Medico.

She takes care of all things related to marketing and ESG at LMPH. With a diverse marketing background Astrid brings a new perspective to the business.

When not at work, Astrid is spending time with her family or rowing - a passion she discovered when moving to London in 2019.

Astrid has a MSc in Economics & Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.

Our Financial Controller Sharon excel in management accounting, forecasting, and budgeting. With over 15 years of experience, she is very valuable asset to our team and will help us shape and strengthen the finance department.

Beyond professional endeavors, Sharon’s interests include a love for crime documentaries, hairdressing, and a fondness for penguins, but her greatest passion is her family: her husband, their two children, and their Golden Retriever. She aims to explore the world and create unforgettable memories with them.

Yasmine is our Office and HR Manager. She looks after all of us and makes sure everyone is happy. She also steps in to help with our marketing.

Yasmine enjoys working in a company that has a positive impact on the World

She enjoys, reading, fashion, and food, and in true Hannah Montana fashion, her other life is being the bassist of a punk band.

Yasmine has an MA from Kingston University.

Daniel is our Operations Leader; he plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Rhodesia plant.

With his diverse background in the heavy steel industry, Dan brings a unique perspective to problem-solving, drawing from his experiences in different industries. He is currently undergoing training as a Safety Authorisation Provider and is also involved in supporting the project team during the construction and commissioning stage of the site.

Daniel finds it an honour to be a part of a project that prioritises environmental sustainability. Outside of work, he is a devoted family man who loves travelling and football – Manchester United in particular.

Oliver joined Landmark Power Holdings, drawn by our unique vision and commitment to innovation. His diverse career has equipped him with a range of skills that enhance our site team's capabilities. Currently, he is commissioning and mastering new equipment, aiming to operate the plant efficiently. His drive for personal growth fuels his ambition to contribute to both his development and the company's success. When he isn't working, he enjoys working out, exploring the Peak District, and cold ice baths.

Nabil joined our team in pursuit of purpose in his career. With a hospitality background, he brings strong teamwork, dedication, and leadership skills to site. Evolving alongside the company is important to him, especially as he joined the team very early on; his goal is for LMPH to become a national leader in liquid CO2 production. Outside of work, Nabil is an avid Juventus fan, and enjoys travelling and spending time with his family.
